With the support of the national Ministry of Science and Technology, Macao has joined hands with the Guangdong-Macao Intensive Cooperation Zone in Hengqin and Zhuhai to build the CSTCP, which will leverage the unique advantages of Macao, Hengqin and Zhuhai in technological research, market and policy to actively bring in outstanding technology enterprises of Portuguese-speaking countries (PSCs) and assist Mainland technology enterprises to “go global”, thereby promoting Macao’s economic diversification and deepening the development of technology sectors in Macao, Hengqin and Zhuhai. 

To advance the cooperation between the technology sectors of China and PSCs, the Economic and Technological Development Bureau has to date organized a number of events:

• Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Macao) for Technology Enterprises from Brazil and Portugal
• PSC technology and innovation enterprises study tour to the GBA
• Exhibitions, roadshows, matchmaking and settling in of Brazilian and Portuguese technology and innovation projects
• CSTCP site
