Main Features:
The Michelin-listed Café Leon is a time-honoured restaurant opened in 1989. Originally located at the side of the Sai Van Lake in the Macao Peninsula, it later relocated to Rua do Regedor in Taipa. The business place changed, yet the professional chefs remained to serve customers with dishes and dishes of delicious food. Focusing on Macanese cuisine, the menu also incorporates a number of Chinese-Western fusion dishes, and all are served in generous portions. Among them, traditional Macanese dishes such as Feijoada (pork knuckle stew with red kidney beans), Galinha à Portuguesa (Portuguese-style chicken) and Galinha à Africana (African-style chicken), as well as nostalgic local dishes like Rice with Abalone and Pigeon Slices are customers’ top favourites. Prepared sophisticatedly with fresh ingredients, the fresh Unskinned Oxtail is a chewy specialty dish. Recently introduced main set menu dishes include Galinha à Africana, which carries the aroma of coconut, and the very savoury perch, baked fresh with olive oil.
