Located at Rua Direita Carlos Eugénio, Restaurante Panda has been opened for twenty-nine years. Due to the difficulties to afford education, the current owner started his Macanese cuisine apprenticeship at the age of ten, and has been working in this restaurant since it was opened. He took over the business when the then lady owner emigrated. Nowadays, diners who taste his works attentively will be moved by that legacy of flavours.
Macanese dishes like Galinha à Portuguesa (Portuguese-style chicken), Baked Fish and Leitão Assado (roasted pig suckling) are presented to diners in their most authentic flavours without the addition of any other elements or cooking methods. It is not easy to find the authentic traditional Leitão Assado in Macao, but Restaurante Panda makes it possible, hence attracting lots of diners.
