The name Café SAB 8 comes from Sandra and Bella, a pair of Macanese sisters, and the pronunciation of the word “SAB” in Portuguese just happens to be similar to that of “18” in Cantonese. They chose to open the café in a narrow lane out of their fondness for the bonding in the long-established Macao neighbourhood. Located on Pátio de Chôn Sau in the Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro/Ruins of St. Paul's district, this café focuses on novel and traditional Macanese cuisine such as bacalhau tart and sardine tart. All the food ingredients arrive fresh every day, and no MSG or additives are used for health considerations. These make the café a top choice for many travel gurus visiting Pátio de Chôn Sau.
