Here, you can have colourful varieties of rice, in red, in yellow, or in green. The rice dyed with beetroot juice gives out a vibrant colour; the turmeric rice made with fresh turmeric is more natural with the absence of the artificial flavour of turmeric powder; the green rice is dyed with pandan leaves and carries an aroma of coconut. Here, you can have everything in satay: chicken satay, lamb satay, beef satay, but no pork for some reasons. Roast chicken is particularly well known. It is sweet and spicy because of the very aromatic sauce made of peanut butter. It also has a non-spicy version for children. Fish Curry can be made with a whole pompano or tilapia and has side ingredients like: okra, peas, eggplant and tofu. This combination of meat and vegetables ensures a balance of nutrition.
