Privacy Policy

Handling of non-personal data

If you are only browsing the Electronic Customs Declaration System Website (the “Website”) of the Economic and Technological Development Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government (“we”, “us” or “our”) and any of its pages without running the electronic services used by the authenticated users of the Website, we will not collect any personally identifiable information about you.

When you browse or download information from the Website, the computer system used by the Website may automatically record the following technical data: your domain name and IP address; your access date and time; the web pages you have browsed; and the referring website’s domain name if you access the Website via hyperlinks from other websites. The information is collected solely for statistics and analysis purposes, and will not be used for tracking down visitors unless it is found that such access is a malicious attack against the Website.

To provide you better Internet services, the Website will use cookies to record users’ activities on the Website (cookie means a small piece of readable information stored by a website in your personal computer browser; only the website that originally set the cookie can read its content). Such information will save the specific types of information that you prefer in order to facilitate personalization of the Website for your future uses. Clicking these links to other websites means you have already left the Website. Since the privacy policies of these websites may differ from ours, we do not take any responsibility for the contents and privacy policies of those websites. Changes to this policy

Any changes to this policy will be posted by us on the Website by replacing the older version with the new one, with the date of update indicated in the document.
